So I've created this blog.
There is, always, a touch of vanity in blogging. It's not just a journal of thoughts and events to look back on privately. This is public, thoughts sent out to be read by anyone who cares to stop by. But with a focus, a subject matter, it's less about vanity, and more about sharing experience.
I knit, and crochet, in any spare minute I can find. And when you are using your hands, your mind has some time to escape the time crunch, to focus finally on the here and now, and leave all other things to their secondary place.
And when making endless rows for a scarf, or going around in spirals for hats, you have time to think, to reflect.
So I've created this blog.
Just to record things that pass my mind. The grateful feeling for the time to relax, the frustration of a pattern (both knitting and life!) that isn't working, the triumph of a completed project, and a myriad other things.
I hope to post blogs relating the patterns I come across and create, and the philosophies that surround why I do what I do.
